Making calls when roaming overseas

Here are some steps and examples to guide you through. They are as easy as making normal calls.

POSTPAID

To call a local fixed line

For example, while you're roaming in UK, to call a local fixed line in UK, key in <Area Code><Telephone Number>.

To call a local mobile phone line

For example, while you're roaming in UK, to call a local UK mobile phone line, key in <Network Code><Mobile Phone Number>.

To call an Emtel mobile phone

To call an Emtel mobile phone while roaming, key in <+><Country Code><Mobile Phone Number>.

To call an international line in another country

For example, to call Australia while you're roaming in UK, key in <+><Country Code><Area Code><Telephone Number>.
 
+ denotes International Access Code.

PREPAID

To call a local fixed line

E.g. while roaming in UK, to call a local fixed line, key in <*123*><00><country code><fixed line number><#> and press ok

To call a local mobile phone line

E.g. while roaming in UK, to call a local UK mobile phone line, key in <*123*><00><country code><mobile number><#> and press ok

To call an Emtel mobile phone

To call an Emtel mobile phone while roaming, key in <*123*><Mobile number><#> and press ok

To call an international line in another country

For example, to call Australia while you're roaming in UK, key in <*123*><00><country code><mobile number><#> and press ok

To check your balance

Key in <*122#> for balance query

To recharge your prepaid account

Scratch cards: key in <*121*><pincode#> and press ok
